Terms of Service

The ground rules for buying from Nakshi — written plainly, so there are no surprises.

Last updated · 16 August 2026

01About these terms

These terms apply every time you browse, place an order, or create an account on the Nakshi store. By using the site you agree to them, so please read them before you buy.

02Ordering

Placing an order is an offer to buy. Your order is confirmed only once we send you a written confirmation over email, SMS or WhatsApp.

  • We may decline or cancel an order if a piece is out of stock, if the price or description was listed in error, or if we cannot verify the payment.
  • If we cancel a confirmed and paid order, you are refunded in full.
  • You must be 18 or older, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to place an order.

03Pricing and gold rate

Gold jewellery is priced on the prevailing gold rate at the time of order, plus making charges, stone value and applicable GST. Because the rate moves daily, the price shown today may differ tomorrow.

The price confirmed on your order confirmation is the price you pay — later rate movements do not change it.

04Payment

We accept UPI, major credit and debit cards, net banking and select wallets. Payments are handled by third-party gateways; we never store your full card details.

For high-value or custom pieces we may ask for a part payment in advance before work begins.

05Product accuracy

Every piece is handcrafted, so small variations in finish, weight and stone placement are expected and are part of the character of handmade jewellery.

Photographs are shot as faithfully as we can manage, but colour can appear different across screens. Weights listed are approximate and confirmed on the final invoice.

06Hallmarking

All gold jewellery sold by Nakshi carries a BIS hallmark stating purity. The hallmark, HUID and net weight are printed on your invoice.

07Intellectual property

The Nakshi name, logo, motif, designs, photographs and site content belong to Nakshi Jewels and may not be copied, reproduced or used commercially without written permission.

08Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

09Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Pune, Maharashtra.
